The Aztecs U12 team (Aztecs Black) started off the season in style by winning their 'home' tournament on Sunday 18th July at Linton Village College.

After topping the qualifying group, the U12s found themselves in a 'derby' match semi final against Aztecs Green, who had steadily improved in every game during the tournament so far. The close game matched that of the qualifying round with the U12s winning by a narrow 1-0 margin thanks to a strike by Callum Hayes.

The final against the well structured Steeple Bumpstead side was equally as tense. With the game heading for extra-time a deflected goal by Hector Corey sealed the tournament win for the U12s.
